At about 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at an apartment complex in the 8100 block of SE Lake Road in unincorporated Milwaukie, a female entered the hallway of her apartment complex. An unknown male suspect in his late 40s or early 50s was in the hallway and held her apartment door open for her. He then followed her inside where he sexually assaulted her. The man then fled the apartment on foot.
The victim was able to work with a Clackamas County Sheriff's Office forensic artist to create a sketch of the suspect.
Detectives investigating the case are asking the public for help to identifying the suspect.
A bulletin containing the suspect sketch can be downloaded here (PDF format).
The suspect is described as a white male, age 40-50 years, 5' 8" tall, average weight, with brown short hair and gray eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and tan work boots. He may have a fu-manchu style moustache.
