Sheriff's Office SWAT team executes search warrant in Oregon City, arrests four, seizes unlawfully possessed firearms
A joint effort between the Oregon City Police Department and the Clackamas County Inter-Agency Task Force lead to a search warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team served a search warrant this morning (Monday, Aug. 12, 2013) around 6 a.m. at a residence in the 13500 block of Gaffney Lane in Oregon City.
No one was injured as a result of the warrant service, although one subject was transported to the hospital for a pre-existing medical condition.
A total of five subjects were detained in the residence. Ammunition and several firearms were seized.
Four of the subjects were arrested:
- Christopher Martin Hawley, 35 years old, was arrested on charges of Felon in Possession of Firearm (7 counts), Unlawful Possession of Certain Short-Barreled Firearm, and Theft I (Stolen Firearm).
- Scott Micaulen Thornberg, 24 years old, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (PCS) -- Meth.
- David Shawn Gelbrich, 31 years old, was arrested for Parole Violation.
- Danielle Nicole Yochum, 25 years old, was arrested on a PCS Meth Warrant.
