UPDATE MONDAY 9/9 -- SUSPECT POSSIBLY INVOLVED IN TWO WASHINGTON ROBBERIES; NEW SUSPECT PHOTOS ATTACHED; NEW SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION; TIPS SOUGHT
Wilsonville Police have developed information that the male who robbed the Super 8 Motel in Wilsonville on Saturday, Sept. 7 may be involved in two bank robberies in King County, Washington and Tacoma, Washington.
The suspect is believed to have robbed a bank in King County on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 and a bank in Tacoma on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013.
The suspect was seen leaving the King County robbery in a 1985-or-newer Toyota Corolla-style vehicle, gold in color, with unknown Oregon "tree" plates.
The Wilsonville Police detective is working with King County and Tacoma authorities in an attempt to identify the suspect. Tips are sought from the public.

EARLIER (09/07/13, 10:09 p.m.):
At about 9:02 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, the Super 8 motel located 25438 SW Parkway in Wilsonville was robbed at gunpoint.
The suspect entered the business and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect then left the business and is believed to have driven away in a car parked near the entrance of the motel.
The suspect is descripbed as a white male adult, 35-40 years old, with short dark hair, wearing light colored blue jeans, large tattoo on forearm, white tennis shoes and a distinctive dark t-shirt with a large eagle design on the front from shoulder to shoulder. Several photos of the suspect are linked above.
The Wilsonville Police, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Washington County Sheriff's Office, and Tualatin Police assisted the Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit in searching for the suspect.
The video surveillance captured several images of the incident, linked above.
At this writing, there is nothing to connect this robbery with the 9/6 La Quinta robbery in Wilsonville and another motel robbery in Portland.
