UPDATE (Wednesday, May 28, 2014) -- AUTHORITIES SEARCH FOR IOWA 911 TIPSTER; $16k REWARD FOR INFO
On February 6, 2014, Clackamas County Weighmaster Grady Waxenfelter was executed while conducting a traffic stop on a commercial truck near Boring, Oregon. Waxenfelter, who was 47 years old with a wife and three children, was shot in the head and died at the scene. The shooting was witnessed by a civilian who was riding with Waxenfelter.
Investigators later identified 41-year-old Dirck Morgan White as the suspect in this murder.
At the time of the shooting, White had an active warrant for his arrest out of Pierce County, Washington for weapons charges. White is also wanted for questioning in a child rape case. Investigators believe White may have thought Waxenfelter was a police officer.
White was last known to be driving a silver 2004 Mercedes 320 four-door sedan with Washington license plate ANB7070. A Clackamas County arrest warrant for Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm has been issued for Dirck Morgan White and is extraditable nationwide.
Dirck Morgan White is described as a Hispanic man, 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

NEW: AUTHORITIES SEEK IOWA-AREA TIPS
On April 5, 2014, the Iowa State Patrol received a 911 call from a citizen who observed the above-listed silver 2004 Mercedes E320 sedan traveling on Hwy 330 near Des Moines, Iowa. The citizen reported a subject in this vehicle firing a gun out of the vehicle.
Investigators would like to speak with the person who called 911 on April 5, 2014 or anyone else who may have seen Dirck White or the silver 2004 Mercedes E320 sedan.
$16k REWARD OFFERED
A $16,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of White. If you see Dirck Morgan White or the silver 2004 Mercedes E320 sedan with Washington license plates ANB7070, call 911 immediately. White should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
UPDATE (Wednesday, April 9, 2014) -- Reward raised to $16,000
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office continues to work with the U.S. Marshals to track down homicide suspect Dirck White. White is the prime suspect in the murder of Weighmaster Grady Waxenfelter on February 6th of this year.
The reward money is now $16,000 for information leading to the arrest of Dirck White. Anyone with information is urged to conttact the Clackamas County Sheriff's Tip Line -- by phone at 503-723-4949 or by using the online email form.
EARLIER (Feb.28, 2014) -- Investigators seek new tips regarding Dirck White, Ankeny Hill Wildlife Refuge on Feb. 21-24; $7.5k reward still offered
Investigators working on this case have uncovered new evidence, and are seeking the public's assistance with the following:
Detectives believe murder suspect Dirck White -- or someone with knowledge of White's whereabouts -- may have been in the area of the Ankeny Hill Wildlife Refuge near Jefferson, Oregon (south of Salem, near I-5) between Friday, Feb. 21 and Monday, Feb. 24, 2014.
Anyone in the area during this timeframe who may have observed any person, vehicle or circumstance that might assist in solving this case is asked to provide that information using any of the methods listed below.
Persons who might have been in the Ankeny Hill Wildlife Refuge area Feb. 21-24 -- or who might have knowledge of happenings in the area during the Feb. 21-24 time period -- are urged to contact us without hesitation. Bringing suspect Dirck White to justice for the Feb. 6 murder of Grady Waxenfelter is a very high priority and no piece of information is considered insignificant.
Anyone with knowledge of White's whereabouts is urged to contact us using the Sheriff's Office Tip Line.
It is understandable that there will be questions about the nature of the evidence that has led to this request for information -- but to preserve the integrity of this investigation, that information cannot be revealed at this time.
If you see Dirck White, call 911 immediately -- he is considered armed and dangerous.
White's vehicle -- a silver 2004 Mercedes 320 with Washington license plate ANB7070 -- is still outstanding.
Sheriff's Office detectives and Deputy U.S. Marshals continue to actively seek Dirck White to serve a valid arrest warrant for murder. There is a $7,500 reward for information leading to White's arrest.

NEW $7.5k REWARD FOR INFO
A $7,500 reward is in place for information leading to the arrest of homicide suspect DIRCK WHITE. Clackamas County is offering $5,000 for info, and O'Malley Brothers Trucking is offering an additional $2,500.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is now working with the U.S. Marshals in the manhunt for White, who is believed to have murdered Clackamas County weighmaster Grady Waxenfelter.

NEW SUSPECT INFO; WEAPONS CHARGE IN WA; WANTED FOR QUESTIONING IN SEX CRIME INVOLVING CHILD
At the time of the Feb. 6 murder, White was a delivery driver for O'Malley Brothers Trucking in Estacada.
The owner and staff of O'Malley Brothers trucking have been very cooperative with investigators.
Murder victim and Clackamas County weighmaster Grady Waxenfelter had reportedly stopped Dirck White while White was driving a truck hauling wood for not having a license plate on the trailer.
Clackamas County detectives have been in contact with the Pierce County Sheriff's Office in Washington. Pierce County has an active warrant for White's arrest on a weapons charge. White is also a suspect and wanted for questioning for a sex crime regarding the rape of a child in Pierce County.
CCPOBF ESTABLISHES GRADY WAXENFELTER FUND FOR VICTIM'S FAMILY
A donation fund has been set up by the Clackamas County Peace Officers Benevolent Foundation (CCOBF). CCPOBF has no overhead fees -- 100% of donations go directly to the Waxenfelter family to help cover expenses.
Donations can be made at any Clackamas County Federal Credit Union branch or can be mailed to CCPOBF, P.O. Box 678, Clackamas, OR 97015 -- with donations made out to "CCPOBF" with "Grady Waxenfelter Fund" in the memo line.

EARLIER (2/7/2014, 9 a.m.): VICTIM IDENTIFIED, VEHICLE PHOTOS RELEASED
The victim in this case has been identified as Grady Waxenfelter, a weighmaster for the Clackamas County Transportation Maintenance Division.
Grady came to Clackamas County in 1987 as a mechanic, was promoted to senior mechanic in 1999, and had served as a county weighmaster since 2005. The Sheriff's Office offers its deepest condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers.
Attached to this release are photos of the actual suspect vehicle in this case. This is a four-door 2004 Mercedes 320 bearing Washington license plate ANB7070.
Please call 911 if you see this vehicle or have information regarding the whereabouts of DIRCK MORGAN WHITE. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators are working around the clock to track down the suspect in this case.
On Thursday, Feb. 6 at 10:48 a.m., Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a reported shooting on Hwy. 224 near Amsigger Road outside of Barton. The shooting is considered a homicide, and suspect Dirck Morgan White -- 41, of Edgefield, WA -- is still at large and considered armed and dangerous. Tips are sought; if you see Dirck White, call 911 immediately.
At 10:48 a.m., an unknown caller contacted 911 to report a person had been apparently fatally shot. Deputies arrived and discovered the deceased was a Clackamas County weighmaster.
At this writing, SWAT and other first responders are searching for suspect Dirck Morgan White and his vehicle -- a silver 4-door 2004 Mercedes 320 bearing the Washington license plate ANB7070. Full description below.
Deputies closed Highway 224 between Bakers Ferry Rd. (on the west side) and Hwy. 224 and 211 (on the east side), and also closed Amsigger Road while CRAFT (Crime Reconstruction and Forensic Team) and CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) responded to the crime scene. A media staging area was established at Hwy. 224 and Bakers Ferry Road.
Highway 224 and Amsigger Rd. are now re-opened.
Complete family notifications are still underway, and we will release the victim information at a later date.

Based on evidence gathered at the scene, a suspect has been identified. Police are searching for DIRCK MORGAN WHITE -- 41 years old, from Edgewood, WA. Suspect photos are linked above. He is considered armed and dangerous. White is wanted on a weapons offense out of Pierce County, Washington.
Dirck White was last seen driving a silver 4-door 2004 Mercedes 320 bearing the Washington license plate ANB7070.
If you see homicide suspect Dirck White, do NOT engage him -- call 911 or contact your local law enforcement.
