UPDATED: Deputies respond to shooting at Kings Row Motel

 

UPDATE (MONDAY, APRIL 21) -- NAMES RELEASED

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office detectives can now release the names of the involved parties from the Thursday, April 17 shooting at the Kings Row Motel.

The suspect is Aletha Carlese Williams, 47 years old. She was arrested and charged with Assault I.

The victim is identified as William Edward Williams, 46 years old.

Both are residents of Milwaukie.

Aletha Williams is currently in custody at the Clackamas County Jail.

William Williams has non-life-threatening injuries, and is still being treated at a local hospital.

EARLIER (APRIL 18, 2014)

Just before midnight on Thursday, April 17, 2014 the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office was called to the Kings Row Motel on a report of a shooting.  Kings Row Motel is located in the 12700 block of McLoughlin Blvd in Milwaukie, an unincorporated area of Clackamas County.  The manager of the Motel called 911 reporting a male had came to the front desk reporting he had been shot by his wife while staying at the Motel.

Deputies responded to the scene and were able to make immediate phone contact with the female half.  She cooperated with their commands and came out of the room without incident.

The male was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the incident.  No arrests have been made at this time as this investigation is still ongoing.

The names of those involved are not being released at this time.
