Wilsonville Police arrest same suspect in two unrelated incidents; tips, possible additional victims sought

Suspect photo: Artemio Trenado Trejo

At about 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, a female victim was shopping at the Rite Aid in Wilsonville, looking at items on the shelf. She reportedy felt something touch her leg -- and saw there was a man crouched down behind her taking a picture with his cellular phone camera up her skirt.

The man was detained by store employees and later arrested by Wilsonville Police and lodged at the Clackamas County Jail for Harassment.

Today (Wednesday, May 14), a deputy familiar with an investigation on a separate incident from Saturday, May 3 noticed a possible connection between the cases.

On Saturday, May 3, a female victim was in the Fred Meyer in Wilsonville when she was reportedly approached by a man who was aggressively trying to talk with her. The woman made it very clear that she was not interested and got into her car, telling him to stop and go away. The woman's car window was partially open and the suspect reportedly told her to unlock her door; the suspect then allegedly reached into the car even as she was driving away. She rolled her window onto his hand to cause him to remove his hand from the window.

Store security footage obtained by police captured an image of the suspect in the May 3 case. When the deputy saw the picture of the suspect from the May 13 incident, he saw that this was the same person -- and that in fact the suspect was wearing the same t-shirt in both incidents.

The suspect had been released on the May 13 incident -- so deputies went to the suspect's work and arrested him for Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle and Harassment.

The suspect in both incidents is:

Artemio Trenado Trejo
• Age: 24
• 5'6" tall
• 180 lbs.
• Brown eyes
• Black hair

A suspect booking photo is linked above. His full booking info is here. Bail is set at $14,500.
