Just after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a residence on the 7500 block of SE Lake Rd. for a welfare check. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of a man and women in the residence. Evidence at the scene currently suggests a murder/suicide. Detectives running the ensuing investigation are asking for additional info from the public that can help them fill in key background details on this tragic incident.

Based on crime-scene evidence, detectives from the Sheriff's Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit (HVCU) believe at this time that Wichelle Stockton was killed by her husband Tyson Stockton, who then killed himself.

Wichelle Stockton, 29, and Tyson Stockton, 28, were married, and had lived at the Lake Road residence for the past eight months.

This investigation is still underway, and new details will be forthcoming as the case develops.

Investigators are working to unearth more information about the victim, Wichelle Stockton -- who was recently discharged from the Navy after 4 years of service, but does not have any family in the area. Detectives are also seeking information regarding her relationship with Tyson Stockton and what might have led to this possible murder/suicide.
