On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, investigators from the Clackamas County Inter-agency Task Force (CCITF) were conducting a narcotics operation in the parking lot of the Oregon City Shopping Center.

During their surveillance, investigators watched a 1996 Acura RL arrive in the area and park. Investigators quickly identified it as stolen.

The driver of the stolen Acura -- Joshua Gale, 35, of Dayton, OR -- appeared to conduct a drug transaction near the driver's door, selling drugs to another individual. He then quickly began to drive away.

CCITF investigators then attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the suspected drug dealer who was driving the stolen Acura.

The driver of the stolen Acura RL immediately took off at a high rate of speed -- and crashed into another vehicle attempting to make its way toward the exit. The driver of that vehicle was not injured. The crash sent the Acura over a landscaped median with a large rock and crashed into a parked vehicle. (Photos of this crash scene are attached.)

After the crash, the suspect immediately dove out of the stolen Acura through the passenger door and attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended by CCITF investigators in the parking lot and arrested.

The suspect was identified as Joshua Gary Everett Gale.

A passenger inside the Acura was identified as Lindsey Ann McCormick, 32, of Portland, OR. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

CCITF investigators located a firearm inside the stolen Acura that they believe is most likely stolen, as the serial numbers have been obliterated.

Joshua Gale is now lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on the following charges:

Joshua Gale's bail was set at $200,000. His complete booking info is here.

Lindsey McCormick is lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on warrants for failure to appear on Burglary in the First Degree and Theft in the First Degree. Her bail was set at $100,000, and her complete booking info is here.
