The Clackamas County Interagency Task Force (CCITF) and Portland Police Bureau Drugs and Vice Division (DVD) just made one of the largest meth busts on record in Clackamas County: 63 pounds of methamphetamine, in addition to two firearms and cash.

On Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, Members of the Clackamas County Interagency Task Force (CCITF) -- working with the Portland Police Bureau Drugs and Vice Division (DVD) -- concluded a tenacious investigation into a Drug Trafficking Organization DTO operating out of three units in the River Run Apartments on Risley Avenue in Gladstone, Oregon.

The investigation concluded with one of the largest meth seizures on record in Clackamas County: approximately 63 pounds of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $500,000. Authorities also seized $39,000 in cash and two pistols.

Arrested in the Oct. 12 bust were Raul Villanueva-Sosa and Jose Nataren-Duarte. Detailed charges:

ABOUT THE CCITF

The Clackamas County Inter-agency Task Force (CCITF) is a coordinated group effort by state, local and federal law-enforcement officials to reduce illegal drugs and related crimes -- including child endangerment -- in Clackamas County.

The United States Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) designated Clackamas County as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) in 2008. The CCITF is funded in part by Oregon's HIDTA program grants, which administered by ONDCP.

The CCITF's investigative focus is identified by Task Force member communities and tips from the public.
