Program/Service Notes:
Services include: Dental van comes once a month and is there from 8am - 2pm; call ahead to find out which day they will be there. Outside Inn medical van comes every Tuesday/Thursday from 1pm - 4:30pm. Tuesdays are open to all. Thursdays are women and girls only. (people without insurance) Free anonymous HIV testing is also available. Mental Health Counseling and Assistance: Tuesday, Thursday 1pm-4:30. Other days call Kara, 503-535-3914 Human Solutions: Tuesdays 1:pm-5pm. Other days call Veronica, 503-548-0215 Portland Women's Crisis Line Advocacy: Thursday 1:30-4:30. Other days call Crystal, 503-235-5335 3-5 day emergency food boxes for people with low incomes. Food boxes available once every two months. Bread: fresh bread is available Monday-Thursday 10am-noon and 1pm-3pm Formula/baby food and diapers, depending on availability. Call first. Congregate hot meals served Monday-Thursday at 5pm, Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 4pm. Free clothing available includes baby, maternity, work and school clothes, and shoes. Accept donations of usable clothing between 10am-Noon, M-TH. Household goods available, including bedding and kitchenware. Accept donations of usable items from the community. Prescription assistance, provided via vouchers to a designated pharmacy, available on a limited basis. When funds available, assistance is limited to prescriptions written by medical doctors and nurses only, and for non-narcotic medicine only. No assistance for prescriptions written by non-medical health practitioners, or for nutritional supplements, herbs or vitamins, regardless of prescription. Bus tickets may be available, on a limited basis; call first. Bus ticket provision is restricted to only two bus tickets per year per client, due to limited funding: one ticket to get to location such as job interview or doctor's appointment and one to get back. Bus fare for any other needs, including job application, food bank, etc, is not criteria for obtaining a bus ticket. Community Basket Program: applicants must go in person* to the center on the first Friday of the month between 11am-1pm, complete Community Basket application, and pay membership fee. (* No phone calls are received on Fridays). Available to most Clackamas County residents. Members receive supplemental groceries on the first Friday of each month, and monthly newsletter about community services. Bicycle Repair: Monday 10am-4pm, bicycle repair, parts and service are free of charge. May not be available during winter months - inquire at the center.
