Energize Rebate Programs
Energize rebates are made possible by an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECGB) funded by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act.
Due to the popularity of this program, remaining funds are limited. Rebates are paid on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds are exhausted or July 31, 2012, whichever comes first.
Existing Homes Rebate. ENERGIZE will provide cash rebates for each of the following: attic insulation, wall insulation, floor insulation, air sealing (with testing) and duct sealing (with testing). Rebates are offered in addition to those offered by other incentive programs.
ENERGIZE rebates are available to all Clackamas County residents outside the City of Lake Oswego. Participants must first apply for incentives from Energy Trust of Oregon, the State Home Oil Weatherization (SHOW) Program or Canby Utility, then submit an ENERGIZE rebate application to Clackamas County.Download the Existing Home Rebate Application

Savings Within Reach (Moderate-Income Rebate Program). This program is available for moderate-income homeowners and renters and offers increased incentives to lower out-of-pocket costs. The rebate is issued directly to a qualified contractor, who will discount the customer’s invoice. Homes heated by PGE or NW Natural Gas qualify for this program. In addition to the incentives offered by Energy Trust, the county will provide a matching rebate up to $800 per home. Renters are eligible but must obtain landlord or homeowner approval in advance. Only contractors participating in Energy Trust's Savings Within Reach program are eligible for this rebate.
