What to do with big old stuff!
Have your garbage company pick it up. Old furniture, carpet, appliances, tires and other large items can be picked up by your garbage company. They can provide a quote and arrange a pick up time, even if you aren't a regular customer.
Take it to one of the Garbage and Recycling Transfer Stations in Clackamas County:
Metro South Station, 2001 Washington St, Oregon City, 503-234-3000. Open 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., every day except Thankgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
Clackamas County Garbage & Recycling Transfer Station, 19600 SE Canyon Valley Rd, Sandy, 503-668-8885. Open Thursday through Monday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Closed Thankgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
