Weather-Related Closures

  • Barnards Road between Black Bear Drive and Candlelight Court -- A culvert collapsed during storms on January 24, 2012, and will have to be replaced before the road can be re-opened.  The closure is expected to continue until September 2012.

Ongoing Projects 

  • Highway 213 Jughandle (Oregon City/ODOT project) -- Building a new bridge and widening Hwy 213 between I-205 and Redland Rd to reduce congestion and enhance safety on Hwy 213 near the I-205 interchange.  Jan. 21-28:  Daytime work adjacent to Highway 213, Washington St., Clackamas River Dr. and Redland Rd; lane closures on Washington St.  More information

  • I-5 Wilsonville Road Interchange (Oregon Department of Transportation/City of Wilsonville project) --  To improve safety on Wilsonville Road and the on- and off-ramps from I-5. Expand Wilsonville Rd from six to eight lanes near the I-5 interchange, improve I-5 on- and off-ramps, landscaping, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities.  Access to and from Parkway Avenue from Wilsonville Road is permanently closed.  Jan. 21-28: No impact on traffic.  More information
  • Oregon City-West Linn Arch Bridge (Oregon Department of Transportation project) -- This 89-year-old bridge closed to all traffic including walkers and bikers on Jan. 15, 2011, and will remain closed for up to 24 months for major rehabilitation.  Detour signs are posted and a free shuttle service is available 7 days a week for walkers and bikers.  Jan. 21-28:  Sidewalk demolition on the bridge.  Northbound right lane on OR 99E from Main St to 10th St closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  For more information:  Susan Hanson, 503-731-3490 or the Project Website 
       
  • Highway 213, Milk Creek Bridge Replacement (Oregon Department of Transportation project) -- Replacing Milk Creek Bridge and widening Highway 213 between the Bridge and Passmore Road to add a continuous left turn lane, wider shoulders, curbs and sidewalks, and improve sight distance.  There will be lane closures on Highway 213 between 9:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., Monday-Friday.  Jan. 21-28: Watch for trucks leaving and entering the highway.   More information
