Family Violence Coordinating Council to meet April 25
The Family Violence Coordinating Council will host its next meeting from noon to 1 p.m. April 25 at the Department of Human Services building at 315 S. Beavercreek Road in Oregon City.
This month’s meeting is focused on a coordinated community response. The meeting will spotlight developments that impact partners, such as changes in legislation, local initiatives, resource changes, networking, project updates (strangulation, fatality review, assessment) and resource sharing.
Regular attendees of the meetings include Clackamas Women’s Services, Resolution Services, District Attorney’s Victim Assistance Program, the District Attorney’s office, batterer’s intervention programs, Community Corrections, Legal Aid Services of Oregon, Children’s Center, Clackamas County Juvenile Department, A Safe Place Family Justice Center, amongst others.
The Family Violence Coordinating Council’s mission is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for developing, implementing, and assessing a coordinated response to domestic violence and other types of abuse in Clackamas County. The FVCC is part of a county-wide effort to provide for the safety and well-being of survivors and accountability of offenders to reduce the incidence of domestic violence.

On the fourth Tuesday of each month, join the Leaders for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council
The Leaders for Equity Diversity and Inclusion Council (LEDIC) is inviting the public to its monthly meetings, which are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
The council is a volunteer body appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to act as a liaison on matters relating to equity, diversity and Inclusion.
The agenda includes council business, public comment and discussion on how to advance equity and inclusion in Clackamas County.
The council meets the fourth Tuesday of the month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Development Services Building (DSB) 150 Beavercreek Road Suite 304.
