Stafford Road Safety Improvements

Remove excess pavement at the intersections of Stafford Road with Gage Road and Schatz Road. 

A wide turning alignment, along with high traffic volumes and speed on Stafford Road contribute to the risk of vehicle crashes.

Project is in planning phase.

Why

To slow traffic for turns, reduce crashes and improve safety for all roadway users.

Schedule

The county will begin design in fall 2022. The project is expected to be complete by winter 2025.

Traffic impacts

Lane closures will be needed for construction.
