Workshops for Landowners and Residents

Reports of destructive and life-threatening wildfires that have occurred in western states in the past few years may make owners of forested land nervous about the upcoming dry weather of summer. Be proactive and educate yourself on the steps you can take to make your home and property more fire resistant!

Upcoming workshops will offer these topics:

  • Creating defensible space around your home and outbuildings
  • Reducing the fuel that makes fires more destructive and difficult to fight
  • Making a plan for your family to escape in the case of wildfire
  • Connecting with technical and limited financial assistance

The workshops are free to attend, but space is limited, so registration is required. All workshops are from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Choose from these dates and locations:
