Help plant native trees and shrubs to restore the riparian vegetation around Mt. Scott Creek. Mt. Scott is a tributary to Kellog Creek, an important tributary to the Willamette River and home to Coho salmon, Steelhead, Pacific lamprey and many more wildlife species. Your efforts planting trees at this event will be helping our local fish and wildlife, as well as greening Happy Valley for human residents!
Gloves, tools, and planting guidance are provided -- all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun!
