Bioblitz at the Environmental Learning Center

Start Date
End Date

Clackamas Water Environment Services is excited to partner with the Clackamas Community College Environmental Learning Center to bring you Bioblitz,  an event that takes a snapshot of the biodiversity at a specific place. Students, families, scientists and other community members join together to find and identify as many plants and animals as possible in a 4-hour time period.

Experts will be on hand to take small groups out on a tour, guiding them in their discovery and identification of organisms.

This event is free, but registration is required so that we can keep our group sizes small. Resources will be provided to help you with your task, but if you have a phone and want to take pictures, we encourage you to bring that along. Data will be uploaded to iNaturalist.

Guided explorations will begin on the hour, and each will last for about 1 hour. You can sign up for the following time slots: 8-9 am, 9-10 am, 10-11 am or 11 am-noon.

Rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather! Clackamas Community College Environmental Learning Center (ELC) is located at 19600 Molalla Avenue
Oregon City, OR 97045

All are Welcome!
