Happy Valley Park Planting

Start Date
End Date

Join Friends of Trees and the City of Happy Valley as we plant hundreds of native trees and shrubs to help restore the riparian vegetation around Mt. Scott Creek. Mt. Scott is a tributary to Kellogg Creek, an important tributary to the Willamette River and home to Coho salmon, Steelhead, Pacific lamprey and many more wildlife species. Your participation is what will make this event successful, thank you for considering signing-up!

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and be assigned a planting crew. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance, as well as breakfast snacks and coffee/tea/hot chocolate -- all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun!
