Summer Reading Challenge 2019

A Universe of Stories

June 1 through Aug. 31, 2019

Blast into “A Universe of Stories” at Oak Lodge Library this summer. The annual Summer Reading Challenge is free, fun, and promotes literacy while encouraging children and families to discover new books, attend programs, and enjoy their community all summer long. All age groups can win great prizes, too. The Summer Reading Challenge runs June 1 through Aug. 31, 2019.

Purposes of the Summer Reading Challenge:

  1. Encourage children and families to read and participate in reading related activities during the summer months;
  2. Introduce children and families to a RANGE of library services;
  3. Bridge the learning that takes place in the classroom throughout the school year.
