Proposal: The land use hearings officer has reopened the record on Willamette United Football Club, LLC’s (WUFC) application for a conditional use permit for a sports facility and ordered an additional hearing. The hearing has been ordered due to an objection raised by WUFC that the hearings officer engaged in ex parte contact by taking testimony relevant to the WUFC application during a September 26 hearing on File Z0263-19-TE, an appeal of a conditional use permit time extension for the Neighborhood Church/Stafford Academy.
New record submissions and the new hearing shall be limited to testimony rebutting the substance of the potential ex parte contacts identified above, and testimony by any party that wishes to allege other potential procedural errors.
Testimony not limited in the manner described above, including but not limited to testimony related to the merits of either the present case or the Neighborhood Church application, may be excluded by the Hearings Officer.
