Clackamas County’s Social Services Division has issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity to provide warming center and winter shelter services to unhoused individuals in the county during periods of extreme cold in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
Approximately $280,000 will be distributed during the first program year, and an estimated $260,000 during the second program year.
Applicants interested in being considered for funding are encouraged to apply electronically by 5 p.m. on Oct. 25. The announcement is available online.
The notice of award will be immediate upon review of applications and negotiations. Applicants receiving funding will be required to enter into formal agreements with the county.
