Clackamas County announces the hiring of new Clackamas County 911 (C-COM) Director

Cheryl Bledsoe has been hired as the Director of Clackamas County 911 (C-COM), it was announced Monday.

Bledsoe brings extensive experience to the position, having served as the Technology and Accreditation Manager for C-COM since 2014, and as the Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency (CRESA) Division Manager of Emergency Management from 2006 to 2014. Bledsoe has recently been recognized both regionally and nationally for her leadership and commitment to excellence by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials.

C-COM provides 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency call taking service to the public. C-COM also provides radio dispatch services to six law enforcement agencies and eight fire districts and departments.

"I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to lead the dedicated professionals of Clackamas County 911 who work diligently to keep the county safe," said Bledsoe.

"Cheryl brings extensive leadership experience and an outstanding track record for innovation in public safety communications," said County Administrator Donald Krupp. "I'm confident that she is the ideal choice to continue our tradition of excellence and innovation at C-Com."
