Water Environment Services has ordered repair work on a failing manhole which will affect traffic on SE McLoughlin Blvd/Highway 99E in Oregon City from Friday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. to Monday, Oct. 1 at 7 a.m. During that time, traffic will be limited to one lane in both directions from Tumwater Drive to Main Street near the tunnel.

No disruptions to sewer service are expected during the work, which will be performed by River City Environmental, Inc.

The work is a permanent replacement for a temporary repair performed in August when the issue was first discovered.

Project updates will be posted online.
