The public is invited to comment on suggested long-range land use and transportation planning projects for 2019-20 at a Clackamas County Planning Commission meeting on Monday, April 8. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Development Services Building Auditorium, 150 Beavercreek Road, Oregon City.
Every year, the County’s Planning & Zoning Division asks for ideas from the public on long-range transportation and land use planning projects for staff to focus on in the upcoming year. Ideas for the 2019-20 fiscal year were solicited in late 2018 and have been compiled by staff.
The proposed list of projects with staff recommendations is available online at www.clackamas.us/planning or may be seen or picked up in the Planning & Zoning Division on the 2nd floor of the Development Services Building. The agenda for the Planning Commission meeting, including staff recommendations on projects, is at www.clackamas.us/meetings/planning/planningcommission/2019-04-08.
After public comment is concluded at the April 8 meeting, the Planning Commission will discuss the proposed projects and recommend a final list to the Board of County Commissioners. The Board is scheduled to discuss the recommendations and provide direction to staff on the long-range planning work program later this spring.
People who would like to comment but are not able to attend the meeting are invited to send their comments by 5 p.m., Monday, April 8 to Senior Planner Lorraine Gonzales by email at email@example.com, or by mail or drop-off to the Planning & Zoning Division, 150 Beavercreek Road, Oregon City, OR 97045.
