Change of hours for the Dog Shelter

County Dog Services will shorten the hours it is open to the public in an effort to streamline operations and cut costs.

Dog Services, which provides sheltering, stray care, adoptions, and lost and found services, is located at 13141 SE Highway 212 in Clackamas.

While the shelter will remain open for the same number of days, and will maintain adoption viewing hours for five days a week, there will be changes in open hours. On weekdays the shelter lobby will be closed to the public from noon to 1 p.m. to accommodate shift changes.

Hours of operation beginning Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019:

Adoption Viewing

  • Tuesday to Saturday, 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Administrative Office

  • Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. (closed from noon-1 p.m.)
  • Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
