At Clackamas Health Centers we take your health and safety very seriously. Here are some things to know and things we are doing to help take care of you and your loved ones:
Taking these steps can reduce the transmission of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses:
- Practice social distancing — limit travel, maintain 6 feet of distance between you and others in the community.
- Cover your coughs and cough or sneeze into your elbow.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds.
Signs of COVID-19 illness can include fever, cough and shortness of breath.
People at greatest risk of having complications from infection with COVID-19 include people over age 60 and people with underlying health problems like diabetes, COPD, immune system problems and heart disease.
If you are ill with respiratory symptoms and are having difficulty breathing seek emergency care right away.
If you have a mild illness: Stay home, practice good respiratory hygiene (cover your coughs, wash your hands frequently), and call if your symptoms worsen or if you have questions.
If you are ill with respiratory symptoms and are unsure whether you should be seen by your provider, call the clinic to leave a message for a triage RN.
If you are well or needing care for another reason: You may be scheduled into a morning appointment to minimize being exposed to someone who is ill.
If you have respiratory symptoms: You may be asked to come to your health clinic in the afternoon to minimize exposure to vulnerable patients.
Your health and safety are our #1 priority.
