If you’re looking for a safe, family-friendly way to celebrate Halloween, plan to attend the Boo Bash on Friday, Oct. 30, hosted by the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD).
This drive-through event for Halloween lovers of all ages will be held outdoors between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the North Clackamas Aquatic Park, along the main drive and in the parking lot. The Aquatic Park is located at 7300 E. Harmony Road. Milwaukie. (Please note that the Aquatic Park itself is closed until further notice because of the pandemic.)
To help keep participants healthy during this pandemic, participants will drive a designated route to enjoy this event from the safety of their cars. People will receive goodie bags filled with treats and crafts, then get to drive through a not-so-scary Halloween experience with imaginative displays, costumes and performances. Attendees are invited to decorate their car or truck for added fun.
To pre-register for the event, go to ncprd.com/boo-bash. The event is free for residents of NCPRD and $5 for others. Proceeds benefit the NCPRD scholarship program. Pre-registration is required. For more information, please call 503-557-7873.
Community organizations and local businesses: You’re invited to join the fun! You can participate in a variety of ways, including donating giveaway items for the trick-or-treat goodie bags, setting up a festive display and wearing costumes, or showcasing talents with a live Halloween-themed performance. NCPRD is open to all family-friendly products, services, and Halloween-themed costumes and performances. All approved exhibitors participate for free! If you have any questions, please contact Jason Kemmerich by email: email@example.com.
