The Clackamas County Planning Commission will listen to public comments and consider staff recommendations for the 2021-23 Long-Range Planning Work Program (effective from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023) at a study session planned for 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 8. Background materials and meeting links are available online.
Every two years the County’s Planning & Zoning Division asks for ideas from the public on long-range transportation and land use planning projects for staff to focus on over the following two years. Ideas were solicited in late 2020 and compiled by staff.
Background materials for the meeting, including a cover memo, staff recommendations and input received from the public are available online.
After public comment is concluded at the March 8 meeting, the Planning Commission will discuss the proposed projects and recommend a final list to the Board of County Commissioners. The Board is scheduled to discuss the recommendations and provide direction to staff on the long-range planning work program later this spring.
People who would like to comment but are not able to attend the meeting are invited to send their comments by 5 p.m., Monday, March 8 to Senior Planner Lorraine Gonzales by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by mail or drop-off to the Planning & Zoning Division, 150 Beavercreek Road, Oregon City, OR 97045.
