This committee has an opening for one position, which carries a three-year term. The committee meets monthly to review and discuss budget-related matters. The committee also holds a series of meetings in May and/or June to review and approve a budget for the upcoming fiscal year. The county operates on a July 1 to June 30 fiscal year. Applicants for the position must be residents of the county. In order to have balance and diversity of membership representation in terms of geographic area, gender, and experience, commissioners seek volunteers from all backgrounds and areas of the county.

This commission will have two public member openings, carrying a two-year term aligned with the fiscal year end (July 1st to June 30th). Members of the Clackamas County Audit Committee must have the ability to attend all meetings and review materials, including audited financial statements and reports of Clackamas County and its eight blended component units of government. The CCAC meets quarterly, but the Committee may call additional meetings at its discretion. Applicants from the local community with knowledge of governmental or not-for-profit auditing, accounting, and financial reporting are encouraged to apply.
The deadline for applications is Thursday, May 6. For more information, contact Christa Bosserman Wolfe, Deputy Finance Director, at 503-742-5409 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
