A Request for Proposal was issued in August for housing placement/navigation, case management and short-term rent assistance services. Through a competitive bid process, five community providers – two of which are culturally specific and new to Clackamas County – have been awarded contracts to begin the first wave of services.

Providers beginning services (November and December 2021)

  • Clackamas Women’s Services
  • El Programa Hispano Catòlico (culturally-specific provider)
  • Greater New Hope (culturally-specific provider)
  • Impact NW
  • Northwest Family Services

This first wave of contracted service awards work in conjunction with the Regional Long Term Rent Assistance program being operated by the Housing Authority of Clackamas County. Together these system components will assist with transitioning those who are in emergency, or time-limited programs to more permanent solutions.

Current contracted service components include:

  • Housing Placement/Navigation
Efforts to help residents find rental units. Can range from paying back-rent, application fees, rental opportunities. Aimed at getting people housed and connected to rent assistance.
  • Short-Term Rent Assistance
Rental assistance and supportive services that can be used to prevent a household from becoming homeless.
