North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) is asking for community input on the naming of its newest park, which opened to the public in October 2020. The park is located at 17908 S.E. Addie St. in the heart of Jennings Lodge.
The result of a partnership between NCPRD and Oak Lodge Water Services District, the 5.8-acre nature park is part of the larger Boardman Wetlands area. This community gem features a nature play area, outdoor educational areas and a scenic boardwalk trail loop.
Now through Dec. 27, NCPRD is accepting recommendations for the park’s official name. The District Advisory Committee will review submitted names and take action to recommend a name for the park. The proposed name will then be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners (acting as the NCPRD Board) for final approval.
