Starting July 1, users of Clackamas County Parks will see an 8.33 percent increase in fees to utilize county parks. This increase is consistent with the Consumer Price Index (West Coast) to keep up with rising costs.
County Parks is also implementing an out-of-state surcharge on nightly fees for utility campsites. The 25 percent surcharge is consistent with what Oregon State Parks has implemented, and helps to create equity for Oregon RV owners who already help subsidize RV campsites by paying their registration fees into the State RV Fund.
Revenue generated from the fee increases will go to park operations and maintenance.
