Timber Advisory Committee

The Board of County Commissioners is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Forest & Timber Management programs’ Timber Sale Advisory Committee (TSAC). A resident from the Estacada, Eagle Creek, or Firwood unincorporated areas of the county is being sought to represent those communities in reviewing an upcoming timber sale in the local area.

The TSAC is comprised of two members of the County’s Forest Advisory Board, two County Parks Advisory Board members and one resident-at-large member. The committees’ purpose is to meet as needed to review proposed timber sales to ensure the county’s Forest Management plan goals are met, and there has been adequate consideration of resident input related to the harvest plan. Members serve four-year terms.

Meetings are held at 6 p.m. in the County’s Forest & Timber Management office located at 50 Beavercreek Road in Oregon City.

The deadline for applications is Sept. 30. For more information, contact Christina Dannenbring at or County Forester Andrew Dobmeier at
