Public Safety in #ClackCo

Local law enforcement and criminal justice officials will join Clackamas County Commissioners for a Town Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The topic will be Public Safety in #ClackCo. Joining commissioners are:  

  • #ClackCo Sheriff Angela Brandenburg
  • #ClackCo District Attorney John Wentworth
  • Gladstone Police Chief John Schmerber, district representative with the Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police

These guests may provide brief presentations at the beginning of the event. After that, members of the public will have the opportunity to provide comments on the state of public safety. 

Topic questions for the public/residents/stakeholders include: 

  • What concerns are there about crime in Clackamas County? 
  • What concerns are there about the justice system?

How to join / participate

Town Halls are held over Zoom. 

Prior to the session, attendees or interested parties will have the opportunity to email their comments or questions to clackconews@clackamas.us for commissioners. Live calls over Zoom will be taken and given priority.

When emailing clackconews@clackamas.us, please put “Public Safety Town Hall” in the subject line, and provide a name and area. Due to time constraints, comments will be limited. Please limit comments to less than one minute when read

Clackamas County Commissioners regularly hold Town Halls and Listening Sessions, and rely on public feedback and concerns to help guide policies and county actions.
