We serve as a liaison between Clackamas County and local, regional, state, and federal government agencies to ensure that the needs of the county and its residents are reflected in major public policy discussions.
Working closely with elected representatives and key officials at all levels of government, we serve on a wide range of intergovernmental committees to promote the county's interests.
We also coordinate with county departments and the Board of County Commissioners to create and advance the county's state and federal legislative agendas.
The following are the county's annual state and federal legislative agendas, which outline the county's policy and funding priorities in the U.S. Congress and the Oregon State Legislature. The agendas are developed through an inclusive process and are reviewed and approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
