Clackamas County will close SE Tolbert Street from SE 93rd Avenue to SE 94th Avenue beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 22. The closure will be in place 24/7 until 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016.

The work zone will be closed to all vehicles, including emergency vehicles. Detour routes have been established and posted.

The closure is needed as part of the SE Tolbert Street Overcrossing project. That project, which began in summer 2015, is extending and improving Tolbert Street from 82nd Drive to Minuteman Way by adding:

  • a traffic signal to the existing intersection of Tolbert Street and 82nd Drive;
  • a new bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad mainline tracks for crossing at Lawnfield Road;
  • a new intersection at Minuteman Way and the Camp Withycombe main gate; and
  • bike lanes and sidewalks.
