Hepatitis A vaccine clinic set for tonight in Sandy

Clackamas County Public Health and other partners will offer a vaccine clinic tonight for those who may have been exposed to Hepatitis A recently at a Sandy theater.

The clinic will be held at the Legacy Medical Group-Firwood Clinic, located at 36860 Industrial Way in Sandy, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. People are requested to not arrive prior to 6:30 p.m. to allow the clinic to continue to operate normal business hours.

The vaccine is only recommended for people who attended the Sandy Cinema, at 16605 Champion Way in Sandy, and ate or drank from the concession stand during these specific dates and times:

  • Feb. 12: 11 a.m. to closing
  • Feb. 13: 6 p.m. to closing
  • Feb. 14: 2 p.m. to closing
  • Feb. 15: 1:30 p.m. to closing

Media staging will take place across the street from the clinic in the parking lot of Grocery Outlet at 36701 US-26 in Sandy. There will be signage directing parking. Public Information Officers from participating organizations will be available to assist with media access.
