Clackamas County Commissioners will hold a town hall meeting on Wednesday, March 30, at Riverside Elementary School in Oak Grove starting at 6 p.m. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

This event is an opportunity for all county residents and stakeholders to ask questions directly to Clackamas County Commissioners. Attendees are free to pose questions on any topic at the event.

Topical issues raised by attendees may include:

  • Road Maintenance Funds: Last week, commissioners voted to place an advisory vote on the upcoming May ballot. The question reads: "Shall the county pursue voter-approved funding for a limited number of years, for deferred road maintenance?"
  • Oak Lodge/Gladstone Library: Clackamas County is currently determining the best way forward regarding the Oak Lodge Library issue.
  • Willamette Falls: Clackamas County is involved in the Willamette Falls Legacy Project, Willamette Falls Locks, and Willamette Falls Heritage Area designation. Attendees can find out about the actions commissioners are taking regarding each of these.

These town halls provide residents with accessibility to their commissioners. This helps to Build Public Trust through Good Government, a priority of Performance Clackamas, a strategic plan previously adopted by the county.

Riverside Elementary School's street address is 16303 SE River Road in Milwaukie. The town hall will be held in the gymnasium.
