Clackamas County will participate in the Portland Pride Festival and Parade on June 18 and 19 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. The county will join other community groups, nonprofits and businesses from Oregon and Southwest Washington in celebrating and supporting the Portland metro area's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.
Clackamas County will have an exhibitor's booth during both festival days and has reserved a place in the parade on Sunday, June 19. County employees, their family members, volunteers, and other friends and supporters are all welcome to march in the parade, which begins at 11 a.m. at the North Park Blocks at W. Burnside Street and ends at Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
This is the second year Clackamas County has participated in Portland Pride.
