To help reduce crashes and improve safety, on Monday, June 27, Clackamas County will change the traffic control from two-way stop control to all-way stop control at the intersection of SW Wilsonville Road and SW Ladd Hill Road.

Stop signs, pavement markings and flashing warning beacons will all be installed and activated on SW Wilsonville Road approaching the intersection with SW Ladd Hill Road, weather permitting.

The change is being made after county traffic engineers analyzed traffic volumes, crash history and sight visibility at the intersection, and determined the conversion to an all-way stop control would be beneficial.

Motorists and bicyclists are urged to be aware of the traffic control changes and use caution while traveling through the intersection. To warn motorists about the change, the county will install warning signs that state "NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN AHEAD."
