Clackamas County Dog Services took in 17 lost dogs from July 1-5. Nine of those dogs have already been reclaimed by their owners.

According to Field Supervisor Kristine Wallace, based on conversations with the people who brought in the lost dogs, about half of them ended up at the county shelter because of situations related to fireworks.
