New openings on county ABCs: Community Action Board

Clackamas County Commissioners are seeking interested residents to serve on county Advisory Boards and Commissions (ABCs). These ABCs offer residents the opportunity to become very involved in specific activities and the goals of Clackamas County.

New ABC openings from the past week include:

  • Community Action Board: Three total positions are available. Individuals from each of the following backgrounds is desired: low-income, private sector, and an elected official. The county's Social Services Division Community Action Agency has programs that provide service for low-income persons. The board meets the first Monday of each month, September through June, from 7:30 to 9 a.m.

    Applicants are required to live in Clackamas County. The deadline is Thursday, Oct. 13, at 5 p.m. For more information, please contact Clackamas County Social Services' Valerie Skinner at 503-650-5643.
