New openings on Clackamas County ABCs: Fair Board

Clackamas County Commissioners are seeking interested residents to serve on county Advisory Boards and Commissions (ABCs). These ABCs offer residents the opportunity to become very involved in specific activities and the goals of Clackamas County.

A new ABC opening from the past week includes:

Clackamas County Fair Board: Two total positions are available. Two of the directors' terms will expire on December 31, 2016. Members of the board are appointed for a three-year term. They meet the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m.

The County Fair Board has the exclusive management of the ground and all other property owned, leased, used or controlled by the county and devoted to the use of the County Fair. The Board is entrusted and charged with the entire business management and financial responsibilities of the Clackamas County Fair and the Event Center.

Applicants are required to live in Clackamas County. The deadline is Thursday, Sept. 29, at 5 p.m.
