Juvenile suspect arrested in Wilsonville sex-abuse case

Around 5:40 p.m. on June 6, 2012 in Wilsonville, an adult female contacted Wilsonville Police to report that she had been sexually assaulted in her home by a known suspect a short while earlier.

The suspect, a 17 year-old male juvenile, was taken into custody without incident at about 7 p.m. by Wilsonville Police, who reported to his family home.

The case was assigned to a detective at the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit (HVCU).

The case was submitted to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office and was heard by Grand Jury on June 11.

The suspect is being arraigned today at 3 p.m. in Clackamas County Circuit Court on two charges of Sexual Abuse I, which are Ballot Measure 11 crimes. He is currently being held at the Donald E. Long Home.

The names of victims of sexual assault are not released by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.

The name of the suspect is not being released at this time, as he is a juvenile.
