UPDATE (Aug. 8, 2012, 5:20 p.m.): CCSO SWAT/HNT peacefully resolves situation; incident under investigation

The SWAT Team was able to make contact with Grant Brough, age 64, of Oregon City -- the man identified as the person allegedly shooting the handgun.

Brough was taken into custody without incident. Charges of Reckless Endangering will be filed.

No reason for his behavior was given.


EARLIER: Aug. 8, 2012, 3:39 p.m.

At about 1:27 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, Clackamas County 911 received a call from a person living in the 15000 block of S. Hill Valley Lane, Oregon City (an unincorporated Clackamas County address) that a neighbor was on his front porch in his pajamas, shooting a handgun towards the street.

South Maplelane Road is closed at Holly Lane and Walker Road.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office SWAT team and Hostage Negotiations Team (HNT) were activated.  They are attempting to make contact with the individual at this writing.
