Just after midnight on Monday, April 15, Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the call of an armed robbery at the Texaco fuel station at the intersection of SE 82nd Avenue and SE Harmony Road in Milwaukie.

An employee of the Texaco station reported that just after midnight, his cashier's booth was approached by two men wearing ski masks and dark clothing. One of the suspects displayed an unknown type of handgun. The second suspect was reportedly armed with a claw hammer; he swung the hammer at the attendant, attempting to strike him, but missed.

The suspects demanded the safe to be opened, at gunpoint, but the attendant was unable to do so. The suspects ordered the attendant to lie on the ground after having him open the cash drawer. The suspects stole cash from the till and the attendant's wallet before fleeing the scene.

A Sheriff's Office K-9 team responded to the scene to track the suspects but was unable to locate them.

The suspects were described as males between 160-170 lbs. and between 5 and 6 feet in height each, wearing dark clothing, gloves, and ski masks. The investigation is ongoing.
