Sheriff's Office investigates commercial burglary at Damascus Bi-Mart; tips sought

At approximately 1:08 a.m. on April 22, 2013, deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to a commercial burglary at the Bi-Mart store at 20000 SE Highway 212 in Damascus, Oregon.

Deputies were alerted to this incident by the alarm at the business.

While investigating the incident, deputies discovered the suspect(s) gained entry to the building through the roof.

Deputies searched the premises and surrounding area with assistance from an Oregon City Police Department K9 team. The police canine was able to locate some possible evidence, but the suspect(s) is still outstanding.

This crime is still under investigation, and the crime scene is being processed for additional evidence. Employees of Bi-Mart will determine this morning (Monday, April 22) what was taken from the store.
