Sheriff's Office investigates fatal truck/motorcycle collision; motorcyclist killed; truck driver arrested on DUII, manslaughter charges

At 12:15 a.m. on May 4, 2013, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a traffic crash on SE Hwy. 212, near SE 135th Ave. in Clackamas, an industrial area of Clackamas County.

Deputies arrived to find the aftermath of a fatal collision between the driver of a motorcycle and a Ford F150. The truck driver was arrested on DUII and manslaughter charges.

Deputies say the driver of the Ford F150 -- identified as Bradley Allen Brock, 23 -- pulled out in front of a motorcyclist going east on SE Hwy 212. The motorcyclist struck the passenger side of the truck, killing the motocyclist.

The driver of the motorcycle is identified as Kenneth Bladow, 52.

Deputies believe alcohol was a contributing factor of the accident, which is still under investigation.

Deputies arrested Bradley Allen Brock, driver of the Ford F150, on charges of Manslaughter and DUII. He is currently being held in the Clackamas County Jail on a $257,500 bail.

Mr. Brock is accused of driving under the influence of intoxicants and pulling out in front of Bladow, who was traveling eastbound on SE. Hwy 212 -- causing Mr. Bladow to strike the passenger side of Mr. Brock's vehicle. Mr. Bladow died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.
