The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Estacada Fire Department and American Medical Response responded to a traffic crash on S. Eagle Creek Road, near S. Duus Road, just outside the city of Estacada around 11 p.m. Saturday night. Witnesses reported a head-on crash between two vehicles. Both vehicles suffered heavy damage in the crash.
Estacada Fire and AMR personnel treated two patients on-scene. The driver of one vehicle -- Sherri Lynn Graham, 53, of Boring -- succumbed to fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was treated and released at the scene.
A dog in one of the vehicles suffered injuries and had to be extricated by Estacada Fire personnel. The dog was taken to a veterinary hospital. The extent of its injuries is unknown at this writing (Nov. 3, 2013, 7:23 a.m.).
The Sheriff's Office Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic Team (CRAFT) responded and is investigating the crash scene. Sheriff's Office Detectives are interviewing the other driver, who is cooperating with the investigation at this time.
